SUBMISSION CRITERIA FOR 2023
Submissions will be accepted VIA EMAIL. Please read through all of the information below. It is imperative that you follow the guidelines provided in order for your work to be considered. You must also purchase a ticket, either for only the day you are presenting, or the whole conference (highly recommended). Abstracts are due in by the 1st of September 2023.
This year’s optional theme is:
“Intersectionality”
SUBMISSION CATEGORIES:
Oral Presentation: 15 minute presentation with 5 additional minutes of question time (20 minutes total)
Posters: Standard A0-size minimum 300DPI, color or black and white, portrait or landscape orientation
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
Oral Presentation: Please email us with the title of your presentation, accompanied by an abstract of max. 250 words. You MAY OR MAY NOT choose to base your presentation on the optional theme “Intersectionality”.
Posters: Please email us with a standard A0-size minimum 300DPI poster. It may be in color or black and white. It may also be oriented portrait or landscape.
Presentation Mode (In-Person or Online): NASC 2023 will be hybrid and as such please include your preferred presentation method when submitting your abstract.
All submissions must contain:
The names of all presenters who will be speaking/showing (for the program)
ONE suitable contact email address and phone number
The name of your University (and Department or College)
Degree/current level of study (eg Honours), or if you are a recent graduate your date of completion
The category to which you are submitting (oral presentation or poster)
The mode in which you will be presenting (in-person or via zoom) .
